username can contain any characters you like, and must be at least three letters
long. You will need your username to log into Anywherever.
For your security, we ask that you choose a secure password for your account.
It must be at least six characters long, and contain at least one number. Please note
that passwords are case-sensitive.
To help people know who you are, you can supply your real name in the box below. If you
don't want to tell us this, then people will only know you by your username.
Because men and women can have very different opinions of a place, we give the
option of supplying your gender so that people who read about the places you have been
will have a better idea of what to expect if they go there themselves. You don't
have to tell us this if you don't want to, however.
Anywherever is different to most internet journals in that people can keep track of your
location, wherever you are in the world. With close to three million
cities currently registered in our database, we hope you will find the place you're looking
for! If you find a town or village is missing, please contact us
and we will do our best to correct the mistake.
If you want to be sent an email whenever one of your friends writes in their journal, please check
the box below. This option can be changed back at any time.
Your privacy is important to us, and if you only want your friends to view your journal,
then please check the appropriate option below. For the truly paranoid, it is even possible
to hide your journal from everyone, but we do not recommend this setting as it will prevent
you from fully taking part in the community.

Introduction
Welcome to Anywherever, the online mapping blog. The Anywherever service ('the Service')
is operated privately as a personal project, and thus is not intended to be a commercial
enterprise.
By using the Anywherever web site, you acknowledge that you have
read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These terms are subject
to change at any time and without further notice. The most recent version of these Terms
of Use can be found here. By continuing to use the Service after any such changes

Account Features
Users are able to upload as many journal entries and images as they wish,
limited only by what Anywherever consideres to be reasonable for personal use. Users
who upload journal entries beyond this will be notified, and continuation of the behavior
will be judged as a failure to abide by the Terms of Service, and the account will be revoked.
Eligability
You must be thirteen years old or over to register as a member of this site. Prohibited
memberships are considered void. By using the Service or the Web site, you agree to abide
by all the Terms of Use. Anywherever may terminate your membership and/or prohibit you from
using or accessing the Service at any time.
Code of Conduct
Anywherever is intended for personal, non-commercial use and should be treated accordingly.
You warrant that no information submitted through your account will infringe upon the rights
of any third party or contain unlawful material. You agree not to collect user information from
other members of the Service for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications. The use
of automated scripts for collecting information from the Service is also prohibited. You
further agree to never use the Service in an unlawful manner, or in any other manner that
could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Service.
In addition, you agree to never upload or otherwise make available and content that we deem
to be objectionable, paritcularly content that is threatening, obscene or hateful. You may not
us the Service to impersonate any person or entity, or make available any unsolicited or unauthorised
advertising or promotional materials. Uploading material which contains software viruses or any
other computer code designed to disrupt computer software or hardware is prohibited. You may
not attempt to use another user's account.
Proprietary Content Rights
All content on the web site is the property of Anyhwherever unless noted otherwise, all rights reserved. No content may
be modified, copied, distributed, republished or sold in any form by any means without Anywherever's prior
written permission. You are permitted to download or print a copy of any portion of the site
so long as it is solely for your own use, and that all other proprietary notices are adhered to.
User Content
You are solely responsible for the information that you upload to the Service to transmit
to other users. Anywherever reserves the right to review and delete and uploaded content that
in the sole judgement of Anywherever violates the letter or spirit of these Terms of Service.
The user retains all rights to their uploaded content, and may remove uploaded content from the
Service at any time.
Privacy Policy
All information uploaded into Anywherever by a user is private to that user except
to the extent that they opt to share that information with other users or the public.
Termination
You agree that Anywherever, in its sole discretion, may terminate your account and remove and discard any uploaded content
for any reason. This includes lack of use, or if Anywherever believes you have violated or acted inconsistently with the
letter or spirit of the Terms of Service. Any contracts in conjunction with your deleted account will be
terminated as well. Anywherever may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing its services,
with or without notice. You agree that Anywherever shall not be liable to you or any third party for any
termination of your access to its services. Any donations to the site are non-refundable.
Advertisments or Promotions
While it is not our policy to do so, Anywherever reserves the right to run advertisments and promotions
with or without prior notice, and without recompense to you or any other user.
Disclaimer of Warrianties
You hereby agree that the use of Anyhwherever's services is at your own risk. Anywherever disclaims all
warranties of any kind, and makes no warranty that its services will meet your requirements or remain uninterrupted, timely, secure
or error-free.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Anywherever, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents,
co-branders or other partners and employees, harmless from any alleged claim or demand, including reasonable
attorney fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your uploaded data, your use of the Anywherever's
services, your connection to the Anywherever's services, your violation of the Terms of Service, or your violation
of any rights of another, whether you are a registered user or not. The user is solely responsible for his or her
actions when using the Anywherever's services, including, but not limited to, costs incurred for Internet access.
Limitation of Liability
You acknowledge that Anywherever shall not be liable for and direct, indirect, incidental,
special, consequential or exemplary damages. This includes damages for loss of profits, goodwill,
use, data or other intangible losses (even if Anyhwerever has been advised of the possibility
of such damages). No liability is assumed for damages resulting from the use or inability to use
the Service, unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, conduct of
any third party of the Service, or any other matter relating to the Service.
Laws
The Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Users of the
Service and Anywherever agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. If any provisions
of the Terms of Service are held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provisions shall be
construed, to reflect the intentions of the parties with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.
Other
These Terms of Use supersede any prior agreement between you and Anywherever relating to your use of the
Service. The failure of Anywherever to exercise or enforce any provision of these Terms
of Service shall not constitude a waiver of such provision in that or any other instance. If
and provision of these Terms of Service are held invalid, the remainder of these Terms of Service
shall continue in full force and effect
