Anywherever is due an update, and will no doubt be getting one soon. In the meanwhile, here is a preview of the enhanced map viewer that will be present on the new site.
This map requires the Java plugin 1.5, which can be downloaded here.
Drag the mouse to scroll. Use the mouse wheel or the zoom control on the bottom left to zoom.
Try clicking on the map icon. Look... it's me!
Yes, the load time is slow. This is because I'm passing the map information as XML, and the XML parser I wrote would appear to be a bloated monstrosity of doom. The release on the new site will use Object Streaming instead, thus being a lot faster.
