Pictures are uploaded with journal entries. To add a picture to one of your journal entries, click the 'add picture' button on one of your journal entries.
In order to use the world map, you must turn Javascript on in your web browser. This is done differently in each browser, so please check the appropriate help file for details.
If you are using a public terminal, then the computer administrator may have disabled Javascript for security reasons. Unless you can persuade him/her to turn it back on, there is nothing much you can do about this, although the rest of the website should work fine without Javascript.
The Safari browser appears to have it's own problems with the map, which I didn't notice until recently on account of not owning an Apple Mac to test it on. This has been added to a list of bugs to be dealt with when I come back from Malaysia at Christmas. The rest of the site should work fine. Sorry.
If you want to map to work right now, try downloading Firefox instead!
